Anthony read Law at Manchester Metropolitan University where he gained a 2:1, and attended Bar School in Manchester, winning a Commendation for his Advocacy. Having successfully completed his pupillage, Anthony joined Derwent Chambers in September 2007.
Anthony undertakes General Common Law work with an emphasis on all aspects of Civil and Family work.
Anthony’s Civil work includes Employment, representing both Employers and Employees; and Personal Injuries where he regularly attends Small Claims, Fast and Multi Track cases. He accepts instructions on a Conditional Fee basis. He is also interested in Landlord and Tenant; Trust Law and Commercial matters.
His Family work includes Ancillary Relief; Injunctions; and Public and Private Law Children Act cases.
Anthony has experience of Magistrates’ Court Crime, and accepts instructions from both the Prosecution and the Defence.
Interests
Watching Ice Hockey and Rugby League, and occasionally playing the latter; Swimming; Squash; and eating out. |
